Firstly, I'm incredibly psyched that the former First Lady currently NY senator, Hilary Clinton walks the soil and sees the same sky as I do.
potential 2008 democratic candidate ladies & gents, lets give it up! woohoo.
her poise, elegance, impeccable manner of speaking yet holding herself up with grace and absolute confidence without a trace of arrogance is truly admirable. considering she had to bear the shame of her husband's infidelity internationally is juz amazing.
the way she said NYC 2012 is ready to hold the olympics NOW to the press, juz shows how she holds her stand. love it. the media loves her and she can hold her own in the very dirty world of politics, to that I say kudos, n i back u 200% for being the first female US president. depending on her opponent of coz, if its rumored condoleeza rice, we gonna have a very interesting US elections. if not i'm waiting to see what each party decides to pull out of their hat.
as danny crane of "boston legal" says pull a rabbit outta a hat.
ok i'm gettin ahead of myself and the world about the US elections in 2008, its basic liberation from you know who.
now i have to say i have immense pride that the NY times is publishing the name of our teensy weensy country as is many other forms of media.
however, i say
wtf is up with the IOC opening ceremony?- why choose vivian who was obviously unprepared with her nerves cramping her usual style, she does not have enuf experience to deal with an event of such immense proportions?
- why was there only a french translator, do our russian & spanish counterparts deserve no say?
- why does the head of the singapore IOC committee also ambassador for norway etc not able to differentiate "pleasure" from "pressure" in front of mind you PM Tony Blair & Hilary Clinton. For goodness sake, the entire world is watchin, choose someone who can pronounce. if not let the bugger speak using sign language.thank goodness our own PM Lee came and saved the day with wat suddenly seemed like the most amazing command of the English language.
- i applaud the kathakali performance which is derived from my very proud malayalee heritage thank u thank u. however, i saw wtf is up with the tamil dancing with NO indians in it? and the main dancers looked friggin gay to me (yes they looked like ugly guys with huge ass muscles)
- sth is VERY wrong. also there was no accompaniment or the sg flag during the singing of out national anthem...issit me or is there sth wrong with our normally efficient cover all grounds country? or does our country choke when it comes to events of epic proportions?
the spotlight is shining on us, yes glenda chong as usual the epitome of elegance n poise (why couldn't she be the presentor instead, screw vivian man) so we gotta step up to the plate.
i await with bated breath with tml's results, hopefully vivian gets fired by then.
n how did they choose this 13 year old to give the envelope? i'm still curious.
as today's last min blackmailing, bribing occurs so that the city cane get more den 8 billion in revenues is certainly interesting.
what i find amusing is i dun even know whether i'll be alive tml n these ppl are geared up for 2012. bravo ladies n gents for having such amazing foresight. but den again considering the infrastructure necessary it is vital as each of these cities are already very densely populated. hope its not london, or we gonna need alot of money for it ppl. time 3, den again by 2012 who knows the exchange rate may have changed drastically.
on a more personal note, i do believe i've become less tolerant of ppl's idiocies.
the urge to lash out is on the rise, so plz watch out for my claws.
